Washington Dulles Airport Gate Expansion Commercial Construction and Permits

Airports

Construction and Permitting

The Project

QPM was selected to manage the entire construction of the retail and concession areas at the new 12 gate terminal expansion.  The goal was to have all areas functioning at the same time the new gates opened to the public.

The QPM Solution

QPM was on site full time for the duration of the project.  QPM served as the “Design review Board” to ensure conformance by the various tenants with the established design guidelines for the terminal.  QPM also expedited permits through the various agencies for the tenants.  Finally QPM performed punch walk, turnover walks and quality contrail/safety visits throughout the duration of the construction of the new terminal.

The Results

QPM’s on-site oversight and diligence ensured that the new gates opened with all tenants in the retail area fully functional, and generating minimal disruption to existing terminal operations throughout the product duration.
